The band are pleased to announce that they are returning to a couple of venues in March. They are Egremont Conservative Club, on Friday, March 8, followed by the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on Saturday, March 9.
The Egremont show starts at 9pm and tickets are available on the door. This will be another evening of great big band numbers.
At the Old Fire Station, we are really excited to have Mike Smith as a special guest on sax. Mike is no stranger to playing with the band as he’s featured with us a number of times before. If you’ve not seen him, his CV includes performing with Elkie Brooks, Tony Hadley, Kid Creole, Heather Small, ABC and Sandi Thom.
In 2016, he was asked to work alongside the international brand CREAM as their sax and keys player for the CREAM CLASSICS tour in 2016-2018 with K-Klass and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
A musician from the age of 10, he went onto study at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he now teaches saxophone. He also runs his own bands and is involved in many others!
Tickets for the Old Fire Station gig are available from the venue directly, or from Skiddle, and cost £10. Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm
