La’al Big Band are delighted to be on the programme for the prestigious Keswick Jazz Festival this year which we will be using to launch of our exciting new show The Best of the Big Bands.

The Best of the Big Bands is an entertaining musical celebration of everything big band. Tracing through landmark arrangements, performers and bandleaders the rich history of big band music. There’ll be lots of features and solo performances from the individual band members, along with plenty of full on ensemble playing from our 17 piece line up. Our two fantastic vocalists will also feature heavily, bringing you all your favourites and everything that is great about the big band sound.

For our many loyal fans who may not be going to Keswick Jazz Festival we have decided to put on a special preview night of the show at Florence Mine Arts Centre in Egremont on Saturday 23 April at 8:30pm.
