La’al Big Band would like to make it clear to the many disappointed ticket holders who went along to Whitehaven Civic Centre (Solway Hall) last Saturday expecting to see us, it was not our decision to cancel this concert.

We received a telephone call at about 8:30pm on the Thursday evening prior to the event from the organiser to advise us that the event was being cancelled.

Naturally we were also surprised and disappointed by this decision.

The Solway Hall has been in touch with the band today with some dates and a view to organising a concert there soon. Watch this space!
