Well, after having a few weeks off for summer, the band are certainly getting back into the swing of things at the weekend.

On Saturday, September 5, you can catch the La’al Big Band playing at the Civic Hall, Whitehaven, in a fundraising event for two very worthy organisations –  Whitehaven Sea Cadets and Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. Tickets cost £8 and the evening starts from 8pm.

On Sunday, September 6, the band will be back at its regular venue of the Seacote Hotel, St Bees, for an evening of swing favourites. The music kicks off at 8:15pm and entry costs just £5.
